My dress flattens my butt?

I just went in for my first dress fitting, and I noticed my dress really flattens out my butt! It's a fit and flare, so it's not super tight, and I didn't say anything because I thought it was just my mind playing tricks on me.

I actually have a nice little bubble butt, not J-Lo, but in regular clothes I would never be accused of having a flat butt, in fact it's one of my fiance's favorite parts of me!

However, after we left the appointment, my family said that it did make my butt look flat!

I'm going back for a second fitting on the 30th of August, and my wedding is in October, should I tell her to tighten it in the booty area, or should I just rely on some awesome booty lifting spanx?

If a fit n' flare of all things is making your booty look flat then by all means have it fixed! Did you notice if while she was fitting the dress if it was too large in your hip area? That could be the issue.

During your next fitting, if you still feel like your booty is flat-definitely say something.  If the fit of the dress doesn't show off your shape, Spanx isn't going to do any good.  Surely they can fit it tighter in the booty area to show you off better.

It may just be a matter of having to tack in the side seams near the thigh/booty area. Definitely share your concerns with your seamstress

Since alterations can be expensive what about some padded underwear? Bethenney frankel wore them on one of her shows. I have a flat butt and ive wanted to try these forever. Edited for link: http://www.feelfoxy.com/
