XP: Vest & Tie online

FI has selected for his men to wear cobalt blue vests and ties with him wearing silver. He then decided this would be his gift for the GM and buy them...meaning I buy them. 

1) Could I start looking for these on ebay? 

2) And then what color does my dad wear? Blue?

3) Do the GM/groom tie/vest suppose to match? I didn't want a design on either, just want to check. 

PS: Our men are wearing black suites, white shirts, and black shoes they already own.

The gift shouldn't be something they have to wear to your wedding. If it's out of the GM's budget and they HAVE to wear them, then you and your FI need to buy them but don't consider them gifts. A gift  would be a handkerchief, tie, beer mug, shot glasses, money clip, etc. something for THEM.

You can rent them from MW.

Agree with PP.  Also, does your FI really think that these guys will actually wear cobalt blue vests and ties ever again or would these things be something that they would want at any other time of the year?  Because that is the definition of a gift.  Something that you give someone that they can use however they please, whenever they please, and however many times they please.  In this case, these aren't gifts because they have to wear them for your wedding.

The guys can wear whatever you select for them!!
But don't risk buying on ebay or online service.  They will come in wrong color, fabric,and most important all wrinkled up in a box.

Go thu a reputable tuxedo shop who will make sure everything is what you ordered, including fit and color.  And it will not be wrinkled up in a box to you.
