Another dress vote question...

Hey all,

Sorry for the double post about the dress. I know I posted a similar question before and I appreciated all of the great responses. 

I ordered the dress today with the light gold - it's different than the designer's sash. I want to know what you think! Do you prefer the dark brown or the light brown? I ask because my mom LOVES the dark brown, while I prefer the lighter. I love love love it, but would also prefer some other opinions

I ordered the karena royale style - with the neck that goes straight across. 

The dress is 8 sizes too big, but you get the idea. Also, the light gold sash will be altered to look exactly like the dark brown sash - same place, same brooch and same width.

love the light brown bc it compliments the dress well. i feel like the dark brown is just too dark and thats the first thing i focus on instead of noticing how beautiful the dress is.

I completely agree with this.  With the light sash, you see the dress as a whole, rather than looking first at a sash.

I actually like the dark one better, but both are pretty!

Beautiful dress! I tried on the Karena with the halter but it didn't really suit my body shape. It looks wonderful on you. I love dark brown sash but I agree that the dark color is the focal point rather than the dress itself. The gold gives it an antique vintage look. I would go with the dark one for myself but I think the gold compliments your dress and skin tone better.

I love the light brown one too, and if it's what you love then go for it! It's your dress, not your moms!

My eye definitely goes to the dark brown sash in that pic. I think it actually detracts from the dress. So, I say definitely go with the light brown/gold.  It's prettier and complements the dress nicely.

I think the dark brown sash was really popular a few years ago and is just past its prime now. The light brown looks fresh and pretty in comparison.
