Hi Ladies,
I'm looking for some advice. I am getting married in september, with a really simple dress. Halter top, no train, no fluff. I'm having a friend put my hair up, and thought I'd put a pretty flower or clip in it. I'm just starting a new job, and I told the ladies there about gettng married, and one gal asked if I had a veil yet. I said I wasn't planning on wearing one, and she offered to make one. I politely thanked her, and I told her I'd think about it, and she ended up making one and giving it to me as a gift today! It's really beautiful, but I just don't know if I want to wear one. Now since this is the start of (hopefully) a great job that I will be at long term, I don't want to offend her. She is so excited about it, and spent a bit of time on it this weekend, and it was really thoughtful. I'm torn now, do I wear it? If not, how can I tell her? Maybe I should just wear it for the ceremony and take it off afterwards? That's what I'm leaning towards. Any input?
