FI decided to have a "sm" BBQ and invite the only 2 friends he has left that live in NE. Told me about this a few days ago and expected me to have my friends drive up on short notice (9 girls w/significant others and children). My friends and I had a party to go to the same day so therefore my friends cant make it and I'll be late to my own BBQ.
I have never met these friends, their wives or kids in 3yrs. So its going to be really awkward to begin with. One of the guys is really conceited and kind of a pig. (He asked FI if I was skinnier than the last girl and if I had big ta'tas. I'm not skinny by any means.)
To make matters worse his son decided to put us on the spot and ask his ex-wife her husband and step son to the BBQ as well, while she was standing there! So now I'll be stuck w/the ex-wife, her family, dirty man and the rest of the crew.
I think I may roll up in a ball and play dead. Or do the rain dance and pray that there are bad storms all weekend only above our house. Sorry its long but I had nowhere else to vent.
