Hello,
Has anyone come across pretty NO-Viel-Church pictures that they would be so kind as to share. I would be so gratful.

I've got a situation. We're doing two ceremonies (LONG story). One to please my parents and the other one so we can have something we love.
So, in an ATTEMPT to preserve the emotion of that first look (for our ceremony),  I've decided to NOT wear a viel for the church ceremony (and different dress), but now need to get people off my back about not wearing it.

Could you just tell people you're not interested in wearing a veil? You're an adult.. you have the right to wear (or not wear) what you want.

You have every right to forego a veil and people are wrong to try to force their opinions on you.  Just tell them you prefer not to wear a veil.  Period.  If you are wearing another type of hair accessory you could say "I am wearing X instead."  Period.  Then change the subject of the conversation.

Tell them they can wear a veil at their wedding.

Not only do I think you should say "no" to a veil if you don't want a veil, but I also think you should say no to this second ceremony to please the family.

You're an adult.  You don't, and shouldn't, have a ceremony or veil that you don't want just to please others.
