Silver Shoes/Ivory Dress

Wanted your thoughts on doing a silver strappy sandal with a ivory dress (detailed pic below):

I'd be more inclined to go for a gold shoe than silver (in fact, that's exactly what I did), but if it's a floor-length dress, the shoe really won't be very noticeable anyway.

I have an ivory gown and I am going with a blinged-out, silver, strappy sandal.  I compared a gold sandal and a silver sandal with my gown and just liked the way the silver contrasted with the ivory.  However, I am biased -- I prefer silver and platinum to gold, and I will be wearing a pearl and platinum choker and earring set, and liked how the entire outfit blended together.

Definitely gold. Silver goes better with a starker white.

I'm really not a fan of silver and ivory- I'd do ivory, gold or some fun unexpected color!
