Has anyone used Crankybride.com?

Hi all!

I was wondering if anyone has used crankybride.com?  They have the Alfred Angelo gown style 2212T for $299, which I know isn't an unreasonable price, as I've been quoted the same price by a local bridal shop.  It just happens that I'm going to be moving back in with my mom within the next few months, and her place is a couple hours away from where I currently live, thus leading me to look for alternative options.

I've been trying to search online to see if anyone has left reviews for crankybride.com and have come up with nothing, so I figured I'd ask around here to see if anyone has used them at all.

Alfred Angelo gowns aren't hard to find, can you look for a retailer closer to your mom?

I vote giving your money to a brick-and-mortar store over a website.

There's actually one of the Alfred Angelo salons in the same city where she lives.  I've just heard that when you buy through them they tend to be more expensive than buying through other stores.

I have a while before a bit before I actually need to buy the dress, seeing as the ceremony isn't until New Year's eve, but I'm the type of person who likes to have everything lined up and completed as soon as I can.

I actually just received my gown that I ordered through them and they were fantastic!  They were really helpful everytime I had a question (and I had a lot of questions!) and walked me through everything.  And they actually do have a partner store located in Wisconsin I read on the About Us section.  If you want other reviews too, they do have a testamonials spot on their site.  That's what I read before I ordered.  Hope this helps!
