Donating my dress

I would really like to donate my dress after my wedding.  Everything I have found online gives charities that sell the dress to rasie money for their cause.  While that is great, I really want to donate it to a charity that gives dresses to women who cannot afford one.  Any ideas?

try looking at your local craigslist.. there are some ladies who post on there that they cant afford a dress and one is wanted or if you attend a church ask around and see if anyone is getting married soon and needs or cant afford a dress

Bridges against breast cancer.

I really like pp's idea, if you do it through a church you could still get the write off.

I am considering donating there. The money from the dress goes to give women with stage 4 breast cancer a vacation with their families before they start treatment.
