Help! too close to wedding to order BM dresses

Hi

So I'm a procrastinator who rejects the bridal system and thus waited waaaaay too long before trying to order my BM dresses. Now none of the places will order the dresses I want (Mori Lee) because it is too close to the (April 24) wedding. Anyone know of any sage green chiffon dresses I can buy off the rack? Or a place that will special order them faster for me? I'm desparate.

p.s. why in the world does it take 3 months for a dress to be made? The freaking constitutions was written in less time than that.

what style of chiffon dress?? tea, floor, strapless?

If your looking for a dress that is a little less formal you can try jc penney or macy's. I found my BM dresses (beach wedding) at Target and they had some pretty nice dresses there too. I hope this helps.

David's Bridal can probably do 3 months.  You also might be able to put in an alchemy request on etsy.

JCrew has several silk chiffon dresses in clover.

I am getting married April 17 and we got our BM dresses from Davids about 2 weeks ago.  They told me it would take 6 weeks for them to come in ....they do have a few shades of green and a lot of choices in chiffon.  I know a lot of people don't like Davids but I was in a jam like you and waited too long to order....sooo it worked for me, you could definately go take a look.  They do also have dresses that can be bought off the rack...
also do you have a JCP outlet near you? They sometimes have beautiful dresses at awesome prices.
Or maybe you can try to find a prom dress that might work...there are so many styles for prom now and some of them do like BM gowns...you could always try that!

J Crew only takes 4-7 days to ship BM dresses.

If ya want to go inexpensive and make sure to get your dresses (hopefully) and alterations will probably need done as well....go David's Bridal.  The wonderful Wal-Mart of bridal stores, but it works in a pinch.  GL!

I was in a similar situation & couldnt make up my mind on a BM dress, so then I ended up with no time for an order to be placed... I dont know why it takes so long for a dress to be made? I checked out Davids & almost went with a dress that was 150, then went to JCpennys and found a similar dress that was much better quality and on sale for $50! I would check out department stores, or give your girls a color swatch & have them pick out there own.

I just found a site called dresscodeformal.com.  They say you can do a rush order for delivery in 6-7 weeks for $30.  The prices seem low, so even with the rush fee it wouldn't be too expensive, if they have something you like.
