Dessy Sizing Chart

I like this Dessy dress (see link below) in the Spa color... Although, I have a BM who claims that she wore Dessy in two wedding parties in the past and the sizing chart was so off!

She ordered what it said the first time and had to get it taken in biiiig time. The second time, she ordered two sizes smaller than what the sizing chart said and it fit perfectly. Anyone have any experience with this? We're ordering online so I'm wondering whether we should play it safe and follow the chart to the mark or heed her advice?

My BM wore Dessy last year and they all ran true to size.  Only a couple of them had to have the bust altered.

I agree--my Dessy bridesmaid dress ran true to street size.

I am also going with Dessy dresses and they all run pretty true to size.

I just was in a wedding with Dessy's and they fit to size easily.  We ordered them from Pearl's Place if that helps and if you email them they will send you a size chart.

We ordered mine from a shop, they took mesurements and compared them to the chart. Everything fit just like it should. Only 1 out of 4 had to do alterations, and that was just to shorten the straps.
