Weird Question- But How Do You Plan to Use the Restroom in Your Dress?

I have seen a few different ways on using the restroom while in your wedding gown, all of which are smart.  But my dress is very fitted-close to a trumpet shape, and I'm not sure I can pull it up enough to use the bathroom.  I guess I could take it off all together then put it back on..............any suggestions?

Pee forward.  I was most happy to find a way that I could pee alone.  Pick up the front of the dress and sit on the toilet facing the wall.  The front of the dress is easier to pick up than the back.

I had my sister help me.  We hiked it up, she held it, I partially closed the stall door and went.

I had my sister (MOH) and my close friend help me. They both held my dress up for me in a handicapped (larger) stall. To add to the mix, one of my guests walked in on us lol

This.  The only issue you will run into is removing your underwear from one leg...and that really isn't an issue at all.

I didn't pee at my wedding but once back at the hotel room before heading out for the after party I quickly peed exactly as described by PP and had absolutely no issues.

I also plan to pee facing the toilet. I really don't want anyone else in there with me.

I have heard that it's best t use the handicapped stall so you have more room while doing this.

If it is too tight to lift, then lock the door to the bathroom take a couple of friends and have them help you out and back into the dress. Honestly though this was a non-issue for me since I didn't go all night. The best time to go would be when you are waiting to be introduced or during dinner (before or after the toast) if you have time.

My mom held the dress up for me. It was not fun. Thankfully I only went once & found a single bathroom that we could lock.

How do movie stars pee at award shows? Do you think they make their publicists help them? It would be like having 100 brides in one place all drinking and needing to pee.

I've heard that peeing "forward" is the best method, and it honestly makes the most sense to me.

That being said, I somehow made it from the moment I put on my dress to the moment I took it off without having to pee. I did a lot of hydrating that morning (Because I was afraid I wouldn't have time to eat or drink anything at the wedding-which I did wind up being able to do after all) waited until the last possible moment to put my dress on (5pm ceremony, peed right before I got dressed) ... and somehow just didn't wind up having to go at all. Not sure why, but I just didn't have to go.

The backwards thing is just so weird to me!!!  I think I will have my mom hold the dress up for me in the handicap stall OR lock the bathroom door and get unlaced as quickly as possible, then jump back in.  The bathroom at our venue is a large, modern bathroom and we'll have maybe 45 women in attendance - I don't think locking them out for five to ten minutes will be too awful.

It's a ballgown. I plan to have my mom and aunt escort me to the restroom and lift it up so I dont..... misfire......
