Ivory Dress/Gold Shoes?

My wedding gown is ivory.  Can I wear gold shoes with it?  Thanks!

Of course! I'm thinking about wearing champagne colored heels with my ivory/off white dress. I love the color combo plus I think it would be much easier than dyeing the shoes the same color as the dress.

They say that is the big thing this year, fun shoes, not matching colors exactly. I think it will look beautiful!

My dress was diamond white and I wore gold shoes. Loved them!

Thanks for all the positive feedback ladies.  I have my first dress fitting next Saturday, so I wanted to take the shoes that I think I'll be wearing on the wedding day.  I think I'll stick with the gold!

Believe it or not, I purchased my shoes first because I loved them. I knew my gown would be ivory. They are light gold satin, very comfy and look fab with my gown. My gown is Maggie Sottoro Clarissa in light gold underlay with ivory overlay. The shoes look great.
