I need help im not quite sure what is the best hair style for my dress! its strapless and my veil comes half way down my back and will not be in my face! any suggestions?

I'm wearing my hair down with loose curly waves, and it sounds like we have similar veil styles.

I would first try and decide if you want to have your hair all down, some up/some down or all up.  Sounds like with your veil, you can do any of the three.  Once you decide on the style, google images.  Or try pictures under the projectwedding site, they have tons of hairstyles!

Also consider what your reception will be like. If it will be busy with lots of dancing and moving around, or if its outside and the weather might be humid, I would go with up so whenever a picture is snapped you dont look worn out with frizzy hair! But if its more on the laid back side then dow is the way to go! With a strapless gown you can easily go with either one without taking away from the gown!

Yes my wedding is in august and outside at 5! so im sure it will be humid thanks for that tip!!!!! everyone is saying with strapless dress you are suppose to do up dos! But I guess I will have to try a couple styles to see what looks best with my veil! Thanks Ladies

If you want to to do it up and still get the look and feel of it being down, a side swipped bun might work for you! With bangs that gently hang down, but the ends are still pinned back. Theres a great magazine out, Martha Stewart Wedding I believe, that has a great idea for this particular look! The cover has a girl with butterflies on her dress!
