Minor hiccup with my Mori Lee Voyager dress that I'm bringing down to FL from Chicago for my wedding: After it travels on the plane, it cannot be steam cleaned. That's what the tag says. So no matter how bunched and wrinkled it gets up there in the overhead compartment, I've gotta wear it. i don't trust a dry cleaner I don't know to not screw that up, so I'm stuck with the only other instruction: use cool iron on back of fabric.
It doesn't sound like a lot of help to me to use an unplugged iron on a dress. Any experience with this? Will misting it with warm water from a spray bottle and hanging it for two days in the Florida humidity do anything if there's a huge crease? I am NOT looking forward to this issue arising in 2.5 months, so I am REALLY hoping you girls are experts who can help! THANK YOU and good luck with your planning!!!
