We want to do tan suits for the guys, and Men's Warehouse doesn't rent them. Mr Formal (the only other place in town) does rent them, but they are more than renting tuxes at $130.
Now, since my BMs probably paid that much for the dresses, it doesn't seem crazy to me. But the BMs get to keep their dresses. We thought maybe the guys could all buy the same suit, as they would all probably wear it again. But the suits we looked up on MW were about $400, before any of their famous discounts.
There are a few directions we could go. 1) rent the $130 matching suit, 2) just ask each GM to wear his own tan suit, since each of my BMs picked their own dress in dark purple, 3) Find a good deal on a suit and facilitate the guys buying matching suits.
Thoughts? What did you do?
