I absolutely love the look of a lace up back on a wedding gown and the dress I fell in love with has a zipper back. Now I am wondering if it would be ok to change it from a zipper to a lace up. I'm not sure it would look right with the dress and if it is even possible. Has anybody else done this before and if so would you be willing to share the cost of alterations? My mom bought my dress for me and I don't want her to spend a fortune on changing it.
