i only got my dress a couple days ago, but didn't book a venue until yesterday. Yes, I went dress shopping before we had a date, because there were only 2 dates that worked for us, so I knew when the wedding would be. Anyway, yesterday, we went looking at venues, and we booked the second place right on the spot because it was perfect and awesome price. The place is gorgeous, and they have an insane menu in the Russian style, which is important to us.
Anyway, the venue is actually a temple that has a huge ballroom and does catering. The chuppah is held in the temple itself, and although they said it doesn't matter if my shoulders are exposed, I feel odd being in a temple with bare shoulders, so now I'm thinking about looking for a.bolero or something along those lines for the ceremony. I'm wearing Maggie Sottero Alandra, any ideas what might match?
