Has anyone bought this dress and had to shorten the length? I'm 5'4" and the salesperson didn't mention that there is a petite sized option. I've been trying to get a straight answer from the alterations department if there would be a problem b/c of the lace and haven't been able to get a straight answer (over the phone)! I'm going straight there after work tonight to get remeasured and special order the petite size, but am nervous as the new arrival date with only be 3-4 weeks before my wedding and might be stuck with the original "regular" size.
