NWR: Need a hair stylist

I live in Nashua and have a hair dresser that I go to for coloring and trims.  However, I am starting a new teaching job in September and realized that if I want a change, this is the time to do it.  As much as I love my current hair dresser, I am not sure how much I trust her for a new style and what would compliment my face.  Does anyone have a hair stylist that they recommend in the Nashua area?  I am hoping to find one that is not going to cost me a few hundred everytime I walk in.  

Please recommend and also what do you typically get and if you don't mind me asking, what do you normally spend?  I am hoping for a color and highlights and a new style.  TIA

I go to Lucy at Fantastic Sams in Tyngsboro, MA (It is in the plaza across from the pheasant lane mall with the movie theater).  I've been going to her for about 3 years.  She has done my hair so many different ways and done color a few times too ( you know, whenever my mood changes and I want something new!) In fact, I'm going to her the last week of July for my trim and color before the wedding.

The last time I had her do color (she did hilights and lolights) and a cut, it was about $65.00.  I'm usually not big into the whole hair dressing chain store thing, but I go just because of her.  She is the only one I go to.  She's not pushy either.  If you want her opinion, she will give it to you, but she won't push something on you you don't want.

I go to a chain too.....The Hair Cuttery off of Amherst Street in Nashua.  I love them because they are open on Sundays.  Maybe I am just overthinking it and should stick with who I feel comfortable with.  I hate change and have always had long hair with no bangs....took forever before I put a long layer and angled the front.  You can't even tell but it was huge for me lol

I go to a privately owned salon right in Lowell, MA. (sounds sketchy but you'd never know how beautiful and wonderful this place is!) It's on Middlesex St it's called Peace of Mind Hair and Day Spa. I see Francieli and have been seeing her for over 7 years. She does AMAZING work and is great with suggesting flattering styles and colors. I can also recommend Yvonne. Their prices are very reasonable and the owner also does hair there.. it's just a great place! 978-275-0505  They also do nails, and I believe they just got a new esthetician.

Oh, and I always get a full foil, cut, style, and eyebrow wax. It costs me aorund $85, then I tip her.

I go to Joy at Hair-a-holics in Hudson.  Check out their website.  They are a fun group there!!!!

I use Deb at "The Cut Away", (not a chain salon).  They are located on Broad Street (exit 6-Nashua), diagnally across the street from Dairy Queen, (near rr tracks).  She is great.  Cuts are around $24 and when I have my hair highlighted, (pulled through a cap), it runs around $75, (n/i tip).

Faith at Water's Edge in Derry is great I get haircuts with her for $32
