I'm back! Our vacation was great. A tad bit stressful however since we had tons to do in such little time cuz we were only in each city for a few days. But we had a lot of fun and it was great to see my family. I would have loved to have had more time at my mom's house, I miss her and my sister a lot... but it makes it easier knowing they'll be here soon!

How has everything been going here? I've managaed to check in a few times even if I didn't post anything. But anyway what did I miss? What's new?

I dont remember what was going on with your invites; if you were bringing them with or getting them done beforehand; i hope it all went well though!!

Invitations turned out beautifully! I'll have to post pics later though cuz I'm lazy ha! But we're both really happy with them. His dad does screenprinting (like the tshirt kinda stuff) and printed our quote theme on the red ribbon we used to embellish the panel pocket. It's printed in silver and it looks really pretty. My only complaint is that it's somewhat faint.. a few people that opened the invite in front of us didn't even notice it. Lol completely opposite of the impact that I was originally going for but whatever. Just gotta go with it now.

I hear ya Bright. Sometimes when I miss them a lot, I think.. what am I doing here so far away?? And I tend to feel guilty from time to time that I'm the worst big sister ever for leaving my teenage siblings behind, especially my sister. I wish I could be there for her more. It's tough sometimes but I really do love living here with FI. Our family plan for the future is that we'll be in the US whenever I give birth and I'm thinking we'd be there for about a year.. and knowing that I'll be close to my family in a few years makes me happy. What makes me sad about our relationship though is knowing that no matter where we live, one of us will be missing their family :-\

I know what you mean, I live in 'another country' from my family too, even though they're just a few hours away. And I feel bad, because I have a 18yo sister, and she needs me, and has needed me badly over the last few years, and I wasn't there for her... need to call her today!

Michelle- unfortunately no shoes I started to relax halfway through because I knew I wasn't going to find much with spring season hardly starting. But that's ok, I've figured out a way I can get those Dessy shoes shipped to me for less. I just hope they'll fit when they get here.. I really don't want to deal with shipping them back haha!

LM- I am glad to be back. It's a funny thing adjusting the first few days lol, but I am glad to be back

Meagan- why thank you! I feel flattered haha! And no worries, repin all you want cuz I know how it feels. There are a few people I know IRL but never talk to and I feel like a creepy stalker repinning everything they pinned, esp knowing they might notice haha. But when it's cute you just can't help yourself!! haha

Eline- my sister is right about there.. she just turned 16! Being the oldest I always dreamed of having an older sister, or at least one close to my age to do things with, borrow clothes from, confide in.. all that fun stuff. I imagine my sister feels the same way and it hurts that I can't be there for her like I always thought I would be. I'll have to give her a call today too lol!!
