I know I'm just second guessing myself, but I don't want to screw this up.

Is it okay...
To put "The Smith Family" on escort cards

For a couple that is married..."Mr. & Mrs. Jonathan Smith" or "Mr. Jonathan Smith and Ms. Janet Doe" if she didn't take his name?

For a couple that is engaged..."Mr. Jonathan Smith and Ms. Janet Doe"

For two friends coming together...separate cards

I think that's all...I am so ready to be done with all these stupid details and be MARRIED!

    Personally, I'm doing one for each person, but I think what you're describing will work fine.

    Well silly chica did NOT have people initial by their meal choice. They just checked it off. For example,

    The Smith family is coming: John, Susan, Jane, and Johnny. They have 3 beefs and one chicken marked off. I figure I can put "The Smith" family on one card, and on the back have 3 little stickers for beef, and one for chicken. Right?

    I know Michael's has some vegetable stickers, hopefully I can get cow and chicken ones without having to buy an entire series of farm animals!

    Haha...
    Yeah, I had people initial the meal choice.  Only a couple used check marks instead, so I gave one choice to each guest and they can figure it out.  I'm just using little flower stickers, but if you find little cows, chikens, and vegtables, that would be adorable.  :-)

    I think you're okay with what you stated chica. That is what I plan on doing when the time comes, anything to make less of them I couldn't do one for each person it would be so many!

    I agree with Arez.  I think the idea you have will work fine.  I'm planning on doing something pretty similar.
