dress cold feet

I bought my dress a long time ago, and have had it completely altered for my wedding in July.  However, I'm starting to have second thoughts since seeing a picture of myself in it.  Everyone else says it's fantastic, but I'm starting to wonder if it's "the one".  Has anyone else had this expecirence? Did you decide to stick with your dress, or did you find a backup?

How do you feel in the dress? I am getting married Oct 20 2012 and I purchased my dress last year in August... sometimes I do think about if I did the right choice on buying so early, I look at other dresses and think they are prettier than mine, but then I remember how good I felt in mine and when I try it on again, I am reminded as to why I bought it originally. I absolutely love it! I will not get a back up for the day of the wedding, but I will however purchase a cheaper dress for my TTD shoot, cuz there is NO WAY I will be trashing MY dress! hihi... I hope this helps you.

Once you have all the accessories, your hair and make-up done, you will look like a completely different person. Just try to picture yourself all decked out and looking your best. I am sure you will look beautiful on your wedding day.

Never judge yourself in a picture of dress unless it's professional.  I have a picture of me in my dress taken on a digital camera and cell phone and it doesn't do me or my dress justice.  Just my opinion...

I neeed to see this post.  I have brought a dress and I have it in my closet and I am constantly second guessing my choice.  I finally put it on twice this week and each time I put it on I am reminded how gogeous the dress is and how Special I feel in it.  I am sure i can get that feeling in any white wedding dress but this dress is mine.  I am excited to see it when I am all "put together"  Trust your instict Try it on again if you need to, take pictures have a veil or a head peice, imagine yourself in it on your special day.  if you really can't see all of it then maybe you need to refocus the dress, but if you can then you have picked the right one. 

I would like to see the dress so I can give you my honest opinon on what it looks like on you if possible.

I am so glad i found this post. I am feeling the exact same way, I just bought my dress 3 days ago. I keep looking at it and then remember why I loved it and bought it in the first place.

I sell wedding gowns. This happens quite a bit. You need to really listen to your inner voice. If you are not sure of the dress then maybe you should rethink it. But, on the other hand. We as women always think we don't look that good. Is this nerves or something else. Listen to yourself!

Here's the picture.  One of my biggest concerns is about the way the seamstress sewed in the cups...Feedback?

It might not help you feel 100% better, but I think it is gorgeous and fits you like a glove! It's hard to see in the pic, but do you feel like the cups stick out or are shaped funny? It seems like that would be one of the easiest things to fix if you can't live with them--have them taken out and put back in the way you like better.
