Which color is your wedding dress- white, ivory, diamond white? Which color looks best on an olive skin tone? Does ivory or white seem more popular nowadays. Which looks better in pictures?

I just posted a picture on this board of me in my dress. I have very olive skin, and I loved the way ivory looked on me. My skin has yellow undertones, definitely not any ruddiness/redness -- I loved how the ivory kinda warmed my skin tone. White was a little intense- a very big contrast. I didn't try any diamond-white's on, but one of my friends got a diamond-white and she has dark, olive skin and it's really pretty on her. I never thought I would want a ivory dress... especially because I will be 22 - I wanted a young, white dress. But I ended up loving all the ivory ones way more! I'd say, try on a few of each.. I tried on some ivory gowns that were too ivory, almost yellowy - but mine is a light ivory, barely ivory.
I have a pinky-olive skin tone and found that white and diamond white looked best on me. But the ivory ones didn't look bad at all. My advice: try on dresses in a few different colors, and you'll find out quickly which look you like best.
I am the same way and went with ivory. I didn't hesitate for a minute, but had second thoughts about it afterwards. Since I only was able to see my dress in ivory, I went with it. It just gave a little softer feel. I would just keep in mind that you may like the sample of a dress, but in a different color, the dress can look completely different. When I was in for my last fitting, my bridal store told me more and more ladies are ordering ivory dresses.
Thanks for the advice everyone!!! I think I'm going to go with whatever looks better on me. When I was trying on dresses, I think the majority of people thought ivory looked better on me, so that is probably what I'll do.
