Hello knotties!
I just bought my wedding shoes and was quite pleased with the price I paid. The shoes cost $50 which I thought was a great bargain for a top brand. After my shopping trip, I immediately called my older sister (who got married 14 years ago) to share my excitement. However, she thought that $50 was an outrageously high price to pay for bridal shoes that won't even be shown in photographs. I responded that I did research on-line and visited several stores in person and this was the best deal that I saw (and also really LOVED them). I also added that many brides do have at least one shot holding up the dress to walk up stairs or perhaps the engagement ring is photographed next to the bride's shoes.
I know that it' s my money and my desicion to make but my sister's comments still bothered me. I'm going to chalk it up to her getting married 14 years ago. But just out of curiosity, how much did you pay for your wedding shoes? Do you plan on having them photographed at all? Is it even remotely possible to get brand name shoes (mine are Nina bridal peep-toe pumps) for less than $50?
Thanks!
