I recently tried on what I think could be my dress, and with a little research found a bridal store where it is within my budget.
The thing holding me back from buyng the dress is that it is only made in a straight across neckline, which I find to be unflattering. Although this dress has everything else I want, it doesn't have that beautiful "sweetheart neckline."
The bridal store where I tried it on (but will not be purchasing gown from b/c I feel that they over-quoted me on the price and pressured me) says that the neckline can be adjusted in alterations. However, it may not be as much of a sweetheart as I had originally hoped for.
Has anyone had their neckline ajusted from straight across to sweetheart? Did it turn out the way you hoped? Who did you use for alterations (I am in Atlanta, getting married in Charlotte)? Are there any horror stories out there?
Any feedback, advice, and/or pics you have would be helpful!
