Airbrush vs. Mineral Makeup

I am torn between splurging and going with airbrush makeup (which I have never tried) ($100) or going to a salon where I can get a hair and makeup package for less than the airbrush makeup alone ($95). Is the airbrush worth it? Did you go with mineral makeup? Also I heard that mineral makeup can show up funny with the digital photography used now. Is that true? Any experiences with that? Thank you for the advise.

Airbrush is definitely worth it. It looks flawless and lasts all day as opposed to regular makeup which will fade away from the oils on your face or from sweat and tears. I got married in late June and it was very hot out and my makeup lasted all day and all night. It's definitely worth the splurge! HTH!

Airbrushed is the way to go,it's worth the extra money. We had an outdoor wedding, and 3 hour photo shoot outdoors. It was still fresh at 11pm. After 12 hours.

Airbrushed all the way. It's so light you don't even notice it and it really does last. I got my makeup done at 12:30pm and it still looked good at 10:30 when I washed my face that night.

I'm going with airbrush, but don't have my trial until August.

Splurge! You only get one wedding day (hopefully). 

I like airbrush. I was in a wedding last year and did it for the first time. I also did it for my engagement party- totally worth it. 

I even have my own airbrush system, but I got it for free from work haha, I haven't used it yet

I'm going with airbrushed, so am glad to read these comments, as I've never had it before but it was highly recommended to me so I decided to go for it!
