Basically, we met, we fell in love, and pretty much immediately knew we were going to get married.
We started planning immediately, and did things extrememly out of order.
He did not pick out the ring and surprise me.
We picked it out together and put it on a payment plan, after we had already set the date.
We thought we had enough time, planning a September 23rd wedding back in September of 2010, but as the months have flown by, we've realized we are short on time.
I won't have the ring in time for the wedding day, which I am perfectly okay with. It's a gorgeous platinum band with a halo and .71 princess cut diamond. It's entirely worth the wait.
My problem is not having something on my finger for the engagement pictures.
My father is my wedding photographer, so I'm not really worried about those shots because he can always do the up close hand shots when I get my ring.
In the meantime, I am looking online for a dirt cheap cz imitation ring that would resemble mine enough that I could wear it in engagement pictures without it being too noticeable that it's not the real ring.
Do any of you have any idea where I could find such a thing? I"m ideally looking at $30 or under since I am on a budget.
I've done a google search to no avail.
