Blue Shoes??

 I LOVE the way Carrie wore blue shoes for her wedding in Sex and The City! My dress is ivory and I am just not sure it is going to match. The shoes do not have to be the exact ones she wore I just love the concept of that being your something blue. I would like to have royal blue satin shoes. I am just not picturing the two together. Is anyone else wearing blue shoes? Any thoughts on it? I would love to hear everyones opinion!

I found blue shoes that looked really similar to the Manolos that Carrie wore in SITC... made by rsvp and they're called "cassie".  The heel is lower, but they look great.

Any color shoes will go fine with your dress.  Most people won't see your shoes anyway.

I found aqua shoes to match my wedding colors.  I too love the look of splash of color peeking under a dress.

So far the shoe situation has been my biggest wedding dissapointment (which is great! Still have 7 mo to go!)! The website says they are 3 inches and they are more like 41/2! Me and the FI are eye to eye with the shoes on and I would like for him to be taller than me in our pictures lol!

I know i will find another pair but I really loved these! I am a very picky shoe person.. so the great search for blue shoes continues! If nothing else my colors are black and dark gold so I will wear black shoes.. they are always easy to find! I appreciate all of your responses! It's nice to know I am not alone!

I am wearing blue shoes with my ivory dress too!!!  My shoes are not very formal but they are really fun and they give me height (my fiance is 16 inches taller than me).

I know you said that you have a problem with height, so these might be a bit steep, but they are super cute and the pleating on the shoes matches the all around pleating of my dress.
Colored shoes are so much more fun, anyway! A friend of mine changed into her Etnies at the reception and I thought it was adorable.

Wedding Colors are light blue and brown. I'm def. wearing blue shoes!
