Dyed Shoes

Does anyone know any tricks to stop the color from bleeding. I ordered my wedding shoes died in watermelon pink and I dont want the color to be all over my feet or my dress on the big day! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The bridal shop that dyed mine scotchguarded them twice. The did shrink a bit but they still fit just fine. I've been breaking them in and I've had no dye transfer to my feet. This sounds disgusting but I put them on after working out since my feet were damp to see if I'd get pink feet and I didn't. Although I'd be worried of it rains or if having an outside wedding just my experience so far.

I agree with PP, when I had mine dyed I sprayed them with a protectant spray.

Just so you know, it rained on my wedding day and I walked in damp grass. The only place the shoes bled on was my feet and it washed right off.

they told me to spray mine with like a sealant (water proof clear spray) and they wouldn't bleed. so yeah just ask the salon you bought them from what they would suggest.
