Dress suggestions

Hi all, this is my first post. I am 5'1'' and having a difficult time finding a gown because the ones I like are going to need a lot of altering. What is your opinion on these dresses? (I chose not to stand on the stool so I could see how the gown would fall if the bottom was trimmed.)

I definitely like the bottom of the second dress better.  The bottom of the first reminds me of my tutu when I was in ballet class in grade school.....the second dress appears to have more shape/definition at the bottom.  I do like the bodice on both of them however.

Also, do you know if the Hollow to Hem measurement would give a custom bodice, or do they just take it off the bottom?

I prefer the first.

The first one is more fitted and flattering but you look great in both.  My vote is for #1.
