Could this color pass as coral?

Just decided on BM dresses on monday and now im reconsidering the color. Our wedding colors were originally coral and aquamarine. Its a barn wedding but i like bright colors that pop. So this was one of the dresses we chose and the closest color to coral was persimmon. Does this look like coral? Will it match with aquamarine? Should i change the whole color scheme? It is a barn wedding and i initially planned on vintage colors like a rosey pink, beiges, browns maybe gray etc. Here is the dress.

Re: Could this color pass as coral?

  • Truthfully you would need to see a color swatch in person.  Colors on websites and computer screens can be way off of what it will look like in real life.  To me, it looks orange but again I would try to see if you can look at it in person.

  • We did see the color in person  at the salon. To ME it looked orangish- but to everone else,it looked coral. I thik it was because my mind is so focused on the one coral color that any other color looked off

  • I am having the same problem. I don't trust the swatches I need to see it in person (and don't trust the website, those colors are so off!). I've been able to see many Bill Levkoff dresses in different colors but not persimmon. I have been trying to find regency and rosepetal in person and I just called tons of stores in the area to see what the they have (samples or some have dresses that were ordered but not sold for some reason ex wedding cancelled). I finally saw regency in person and didn't like it... my opinion is it's worth trying to track it down!

  • I used to work at a bridal salon and we carried that designer and color and to me it looked orange. I've seen it in person on dresses of all fabric and it always looks more orange.

  • I think you should choose a color that matches the skin tone, barn is barn. but a barn is not gonna flatter your skin, is it? Since you said you like colors that pop, you should go with your instinct. Sure, a light rose would be nice but it doesn't flatter everyone! and that's more important.
