birdcage veil???

Hi Ladies! I am looking for opinions please :) this is my dress: http://www.privatelabelbyg.com/#/main/collections/bridal/privatelabelbyg/1372 I am thinking about a birdcage veil, something like this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/45604915/garden-rose-headpiece-and-birdcage-veil Do you think its too much?? And I am having a traditional church wedding...does it go?? Please any feedback is appreciated I am so torn! Thanks!!

Re: birdcage veil???

  • If you like it but are worried it won't fit the church/traditional wedding, you could always wear a more traditional veil for the ceremony and then the birdcage for the reception. IMO, it's more about if it will fit the feel of your wedding, and different elements in it (decor, style, etc.) than a church, if that makes sense? Also, I'm in the camp that if you love it, go with it. It has nothing to do with how you're treating your guests, so if you really love it, wear it :)
  • I think the softer tulles are a better choice, but that's just my opinion. I always find that the netting looks a bit "harsh."
