Maternity Bridesmaid Dresses

So I just found out one of my bridesmaids is pregnant and she doesn't have an exact due date yet (going to the doctors sometime this week I believe) but she will definitely be between 7-9 months by the time my wedding rolls around and I need to find a dress that will fit into the look I'm going for (which will actually probably have to change now).

My MoH is wearing this dress in charcoal:

My bridesmaids were going to wear this one in charcoal:

I wanted them all to wear black sashes because both of these dresses looked a bit plain without them.

Now I really, really want my bridesmaids to have the same dress so obviously this one isn't an option. I need to find something that will look good and fit a pregnant woman well and still look good on someone who isn't pregnant. I really don't want them to wear different dresses because my dress and the MoH is already pretty flashy (I have a VW dress and it's the same style on the bottom as the MoH) and I don't want it to look like TOO much.

I have no idea what to do now. Also I really didn't want long dresses either. I'm really confused right now lol.

I was thinking of this one but I'm not 100% sure yet though.

ETA: I found another picture of this dress on someone who isn't pregnant.

  • Empire waists are good for women who are pregnant, as well as non prego women.  The two you posted are lovely, and still fit with the MOH dress.
  • Those are beautiful and I think you could still add black sashes.

<div>I was thinking a black sash would be a little much on someone who is pregnant. Especially if they're carrying high.</div>
