narrowed down to two

It's down to the wire and I'm down to two very different dresses.  Would really appreciate the honest opinions that you ladies are so good at giving.  Please ignore the goofy faces - my daughter has a warped sense of humor and likes to crack a funny joke and then take the picture.

Re: narrowed down to two

  • I think I would remove the strap on the first dress.  If that is your choice, would you leave the strap on or take it off?
  • They both look very nice on you and I don't think you could go wrong picking either, but I am not a huge fan of the skirt in dress one so I voted for dress two.

  • I voted for dress 2 also.  I guess it depends on what look you are going for.  The first one looks more fun and whimsical.  The second is more elegant, in my opinion.
  • I like the first one but then I like lots of poof and frills, lol. The second is also very flattering on you but I personally dislike the trumpet look- probably because that would never work for me and my body type! I think either one is a great choice for you Smile

  • Love dress number 2!
  • Another vote for dress #2.  I also don't really like the skirt of the first dress.

  • Def dress 2!! Not a fan of the skirt on dress 1. Dress 2 fits so great on you! Very flattering!

  • I voted for #2.  Looks great on you.

Both dresses are beautiful but I agree, it depends on what you're going for. I voted for the second dress because I think it's more flattering and I'm personally not a big fan of the skirt of the first.

  • I voted for dress #2 but only because I don't like the ruffles going on in dress #1. It seems to fussy and very southern belle. If you are questioning between two very different dresses I'm wondering if you love either of them or if you should keep looking? I feel like when it's the right dress you just know.

Thanks for all your thoughts!  The second one has been in my top choices from when I first tried it on months ago.  I guess my concern is that I don't ever wear fitted clothes, too self-conscious.  I tried this one on only because my consultant asked that I give it a try. I do really love it and feel good in it, but then the negative thoughts come in that I really should leave this style for the younger trimmer girls .... hence dress # 1, my favorite in the "safe" catagory.

All I have to say to that is... whatever !  You have a beautiful shape.  Nothing to be self conscious of.   Rock that fitted dress !
