MJVO Couture - an amazing experience

Just thought about how much I appreciated people's feedbacks and honest reviews when I was planning our wedding and so I thought I would leave my own.

I had my bridesmaids dresses made by the lovely Meagan of MJVO Couture on etsy.

I have nothing but praise for this seller!! The service was exceptional and the dresses were absolutely stunning.

A few standout parts of the experience were:
- dedication to getting it right - Our etsy thread honestly has something like 40 messages in it back and forth. Meagan was so dedicated to getting it right for me - not only with my colour choice, but also the fit and getting it all done in the time period I needed. She ended up showing me 16 different colours as we narrowed it down to get not only the right colour but also the right quality. This is the sort of attention to detail you really appreciate when working with a seller from another country (I live in Australia!) and you want to make sure you spend your limited budget right

- fit and quality - the dresses fit each one of the girls beautifully. As you can see from our pictures, my bridesmaids were all different shapes and ages. These dresses made each one look beautiful and were tailored to each perfectly

- The extra mile - Meagan really went above and beyond - including beautiful name tags for each dress (something which came in so useful) and was just so sweet to work with. So honest and patient and skilled.

Honestly I have nothing but glowing praise and would recommend her to anyone. I honestly believe that the dresses were worth every penny and more - because I know how hard she worked to make my day special.

i've just put in a few pictures as well (just in case anyone loves pinterest as much as I do!)

I couldn't get the photos to load but here is a link to some
  • This is very suspect, in my opinion...there was a very negative review on DIY a few days ago

and the timing is just odd for something like this with the EXACT same etsy seller...

I agree, especially because of the opening lines about appreciating feed back previously, but she only joined today.
  • If she just refunded my dresses I wouldn't have had the need to post a negative review for her. Unfortunately, she feels she has to protect her company from bad press because she is guilty. Regretsky and call out etsy will be featuring this soon and I have letters with the CEO of etsy and a complaint with the better business bureau of Texas. Very unfortunate situation that could have been easily fixed! Beware brides.

  • Hi guys - the timing isn't really odd. Yes I did see the negative review which is why I posted mine. If it was something you were really pleased about and saw that someone else had a complaint lots of people would feel the same way. I just wanted to put up a bit of a defence for a product I loved. Also I have been a part of the Australian version of the knot for a year now, but I did have to "rejoin" for some reason - but I get that that would look dodgy. I guess I could have just directly posted back to the negative review - but I didn't want to speak about anyone's situation other than my own and honestly wan't looking for a fight.

  • The knot - thank you for blocking this user!!!!
