Bustle Issue

I bought a Maggie Sottero Fiorella and took it to the alteration shop to get the dress fitted and bustled and when I picked it up, the seamstress said that she didn't know how to bustle the dress. She said she could find the center of the train, but didn't know how to make it work. What should I do? Has anyone ever had this dress and if so, what bustle did you go with?

To me, this would raise a major red flag.  Is there another seamstress in your area you could consult with?

I'd find another seamstress. Any respectable one should be able to show you a few options of how your dress can bustled.

Also in my search I came upon a few listing selling the dress. 

The most common type of bustle that was done to the dress was a french bustle.

Good lord, the woman only knows how to do a basic pick up bustle, and she's altering wedding gowns?

Yes, find another seamstress!!!
This one does not know her job.  Your gown is too important to have it ruined.
And tell her why you are switching seamstresses  too.
