I was wondering ig anyone has used the website bigdaydress.com to buy their wedding dress? I found a dress on their website that I was. going to buy from a local boutique for $650 less than the boutique. I feel like that price is to good to be true. I want to make sure the website isnt a fraud before I make the purchase.  Please help with any information you have about the website. Whether it has worked for you or not.  Thank you

I just visited there website. The customer reviews looks very well.
I think the dresses should be replica too. But as long as the dress look nice and the price is acceptable. I am totally cool with it.

I finally found the site and found a dress SIMILAR to my 2nd favorite pick for only $259 (the actual original is apx $2700). That could definitely be a deciding factor.

After looking at some other sites similar to these, I strongly believe that they are knockoffs.  I am wary of ordering from them because I worry about quality of the dress.  Many blogs that talk about other sites such as inweddingdress.com have had a lot of luck with purchasing their dresses from the site. I would say try to have as much contact as possible with the company before purchasing and understand their return policy, and also see if the company themselves call their dresses replicas- this is what I plan on doing!

I'm looking at this site for my dress as well, and would love to know if anyone bought from them or had luck finding out.
I did email them, and they are very clear that these dresses are knockoffs that they make in their shop.  They were clear to tell me that the dress would not be silk satin but just satin, but that the fabric and total affect would be very similar.
They seem upfront, but not very popular or well-established, so I wanted to see if anyone had ordered from them or not.

Hi. I did find a review on the wedding wire wire stating that a girls cousin  bought her dress from bigdaysress and really liked it.  This girl said that she was going to buy her wedding dress from their as well.  I am thinking of having my bridesmaids get their dresses from there too.  I am going to have one girl order it and see if we like it.  Its only supposed to take two months to come in

If you look at the bottom of the picture, it does say that the dress is a replica.  I'm going to try on the actual dress at the bridal store and then order it in the size I need.  I don't need a designer dress if it means saving $700.

Girls, I had JUST received my bridesmaid dress. I asked Nicole to replicate a dress that wasn't available on the bigdaydress site.

The dress was beautiful. I brought the dress to work to show my co-workers and they thought I paid a few hundred dollars for the dress. The workmanship is excellent.

The only thing that could improve on the dress is the sizing. I find it a little long,  but she explained that "the dress length is according hollow to floor 60 inches". Then again, I didn't specify the length. I had only provided her with a picture of my dream dress.

She was really patient in dealing with me before I placed my order. She explained the type of material that would be used, colour etc.

All in all, the dress was stunning. My co workers are thinking of getting their dresses custom made by bigdaydress!

I just got my wedding dress from bigdaydress.com (it came in today) and I am VERY happy with it.  The dress I wanted was  a Mon Cheri style 110211 and I wanted to make some changes to the dress.  I was a little nervous but figured I would give it a shot.  I worked with Nicole (via email) and she was excellent.  She always got back to me right away and answered all my questions, and trust me I had a lot!  They are replicas but they do a fantastic job.  It is like having a personal designer because they will make the dress to your measurements and make any changes that you want.  For my dress I wanted to remove the whole top layer of the skirt.  When I ordered the dress I sent a very thorough explanation of all the changes they wanted and everything was just as I had asked.  I took all my measurements and ordered a dress size (to my largest measurements) but gave all my specific measurements in the instructions and the dress fits almost perfect.  My waist and chest measurements are almost 2 sizes different so I was going to have to order a large dress and get it taken in.  With this dress I just need to take it in a very little bit in the chest but besides that it fits perfectly.  Between the dress, alterations and a veil I would have paid almost 2000 and I ended up only paying 430!!! 

I would recommend them to anyone!!! I haven’t taken pics yet but if anyone is interested in them just send me an email.  Because they are replicas sometimes they use different fabrics (use satin instead of silk) but you can email Nicole and she will tell you exactly what types of fabrics she is going to use for the dress.  She will also send samples of the fabric if you want to see it.  I rushed ordered my dress (just in case it was bad and I had to order for a bridal shop) and the dress came in 2-3 weeks!  Almost a whole month early!

I also ordered my mom’s MOB dress from there too but that hasn’t come in yet.  Their website is easy to use and they have a complete guide  for taking your measurements.  They have a wide variety of colors and Nicole will help you figure out what # is the actual color you are looking for.   I would  def recommend them!

They dresses do come from China but I didn’t not have any problems with mine.  I arrived fast and the packaging was in good condition.

Just a word of caution-it's not the best idea to post you email on here.  You never know who's lurking on the boards and what kind of emails you may get if you make your email public.  If you want another Knottie to send you something to your personal email, it's better to send it to them in a private message.

I am looking at a dress on Bigdaydress.com also...Allure Couture C127 so I would love to see photos from anyone who has purchased through the site. I tried the original on at a boutique, but could not handle the $1300 price tag by any means. I have looked for something else for over a year now but nothing else even comes close.

I found out about bigdaydress from my FSIL. It looks promising if they really are good quality replicas. I am debating having my bridesmaids order from there. But like someone else posted, I have a hard time trusting companies online that don't have a physical address in North America or Europe. Hard to know who you're really dealing with. Would love to hear from some new satisfied customers (real knotties)

I have recently ordered a dress from this website and was extremely impressed and satisfied! I ordered an off the runway designer dress (eli saab) and never in a million years expected it to turn out as amazing as it did!
I will be wearing it to my sisters wedding in July and we regret not coming across this website sooner so that she could have ordered her wedding dress with them as well!
Since then, me and my sisters and (even my mother!) have ordered several of dresses and love them allll!!!
This site is truely a lifesaver, and a money saver

Here is my issue with the site and the positive comments about the dresses. The site seems to good to be true, im hoping and praying its not because im running really low on dress buying time. All these people who are saying they liked the dresses they bought opened an account with "The Knot" with no REAL wedding date, No information on who they are, and ONLY left comments about this site on the message boards. 

Looks like fake positive feedback to me.

Its extremely frustrating. I just want to order my dress but i dont know if i cant trust them, especially now that i see FAKE REVIEWS about them. If anyone has SERIOUSLY... and i mean ACTUALLY purchased a dress from bigdaydress.com please POST pictures of the dresses online so people dont have to email you. I just wanna see what their craftsmanship looks like.

The reviews all seem fine, but since I'm INCREDIBLY picky about my dress, I think I'm going to just buy from a boutique. I've found a few boutiques here in Louisiana that have designer dresses for not so designer prices and I'm going to go with one of those.

Just a warning. For anyone that is planning to order a knock off from www.bigdaydress.com/">http://www.bigdaydress.com, DO NOT DO IT!! I order my bridesmaids dresses from there in Burgundy. I ordered 6 of this dress www.bigdaydress.com/ecom/products/200/217/p_DYLR134">http://www.bigdaydress.com/ecom/products/200/217/p_DYLR134 in Burgundy. It took 77 days for them to arrive and they WERE THE WRONG COLOR! I will say the dresses were absolutle beautifully made, but they were champagne, not burgundy. I emailed them and sent them back and they said they would fix it and send them via rush order. So I received the corrected dresses 44 days later. THEY WERE THE WRONG COLOR AGAIN!!! This time instead of burgundy, they were red. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not order from this site. I am fighting with them now trying to get my money back.

I am very impress to check all these feedback. But I couldn't agree with dddevenish79  Yes, we made a mistake for the color. That's why we send her the replace the dresses all in free and even adjusted the size for the replace for in burgundy color. And we are appreciate for the second chance. Please check the  pictures attached.(The real pictures of her burgandy color dress before ship out) That's our #3 burgandy color for sure.(She choosed #3 when place the order) It is  Not in Red. I understand. Maybe our #3 burgundy color maybe is not dark enought as her imaged. We feel sorry for this.

Hello ladies,
I wanted to share my wonderful experience with BigDayDress.com.  I was very hesitant when looking at the site, as I've heard horror stories ordering overseas and non-legit sites. PLUS the dress I loved and wanted was a discontinued $3500 Priscilla of Boston dress (JL312)...that I never even tried on!!  $3500 was WAY out of my price range, but none of the other dresses I tried on felt "right."  Anyway, I emailed back and forth with customer service at bigdaydress.net (Nicole) a number of times, who sent me sample dresses of the material they would use (they had no real-life pictures of the replica) and the beading they would use. Nicole was very helpful, patient, and quick with her responses---she is wonderful to work with.

I ended up ordering the dress on February 15th for $410 (plus $10 garment bag and $22.99 tulle) and was told they would ship the dress by April 15 (2 months).   I was sent pictures on April 6th to review, in which the dress looked great, but I did have a few alterations to one seam and the belt I asked to have done.  New Pictures were sent within a few days and I approved for shipment.  The dress took 7 days exactly and I received a notice from USPS that I could pick up the dress at the post office, or I had to sign for it upon arrival.  I picked it up and couldn't believe how wondeful it was!!!  It was even better than I hoped it would be!  The material of the dress was fantastic, and quality work from the seamstresses were wonderful.   I am so happy that I took the plunge and went this route!  The dress is so beautiful (pics below).

A couple things to mention if you do plan to order:
1.  Realize that these dresses are REPLICAS.  They may not be the exact dress, so if you are stuck on a certain designer or an exact dress, then this may not be a good fit for you.  However, I just loved the style of the dress and don't know one designer from another, so this was a great alternative for me.  Feel free to ask for pics of other dresses using the same material before you order if they haven't made your dress yet or don't have real life pics.

2.  I did not receive any pics during the production of the dress as some other sites offer.  I asked the week before they sent me pics if I could view the progress, and they politely said the dress was still in production and I would recieve pics once completed before the ship (which I did).

3.  You may still need to do some alterations.  The dresses are made to personal measurements, and for the most part my dress fits perfectly.  However,  they don't know if you have a long or short torso, etc., so you may have to make slight changes (I need to shorten my strap a bit to move up the waistline slightly).  But you still save a TON by having a dress made to size and only having to do slight alterations. 

Overall, this was a great experience and am so pleased with the overall quality and dress...I am proud to wear it on my wedding day!  Here are a few pics (sorry for poor phone quality photos)::
