Re: Color Scheme

  • I've been in plenty of weddings with purple bridesmaid dresses and silver shoes, so you'd be fine there.

You could have turquoise as the wrap on the bouquets and/or a small bit of turquoise as accents in your decor.
  • When I booked my photographer. I looked through alot of her books. And one of her brides did purples n turquoise. It was very pretty. Is all about how you put it together to pull it off.

  • I love that color scheme.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

I've seen lots of pictures of that color scheme. It's very pretty.

ETA: Be aware that there are limited varieties of turquoise flowers, if you chose the route of using blue flowers.

  • Blue hydrangeas (we're using them).  Also - our florist can actually spray paint white hydrangeas pink or blue (and other flowers as well of course).  I was super skeptical when she first told me about this, but once I saw it done, you would never ever know.
  • Turqoise and purple are actually pretty common (peacock weddings) so I think the color scheme is fine.

  • Thanks guys for the assurance & additional ideasSmile
