Ideas for "Something Blue"

Hi ladies -

I need some ideas for "Something Blue." My wedding dress is sheath-style so it's very slim. I'm having the hardest time thinking of something blue to wear that is descrete, since blue will not really work w/ my wedding colors (grays/tans). I wanted to find some cute blue undies but I'm not sure if they'd show through. I've seen cute shoe stickers to wear on the bottom part of your shoe, blue ties for your bouquet, and blue ribbon/pins to pin onto the inside of your dress. Another other ideas?

My friend had this really cute corset that she wore under her dress that she laced up with a powder blue ribbon. My friend's sister painted her toes a really pretty shade of blue that wasn't too overwhelming. My cousin wore a bra that had a blue bead in the cleavage. Hope I helped. GL!

Why not add the something blue to your bouquet?  Your florist could add one blue flower or wrap your bouquet stems in a blue ribbon, or you could buy a blue brooch and attach it to your bouquet.

As for me i wore blue undies but my dress was a bit fuller on the bottom, not a sheath style, so I knew it wouldn't show through.

Milkduds has a couple great ideas!  I saw a picture on pinterest of a bride who had her wedding date stitched onto the underside of her dress (very small, right down at the bottom).

I personally am wearing blue shoes.    You can't really see my shoes, so it's a non issue, plus they match my BM dresses, but I know that isn't going to work in your case.

I bought these blue "I Do" crystals to put on the bottom of my shoes. I think it'll make for some pretty cute pictures.

If you're going to do a garter you could do a blue bow. That's what i did.

I have a tiny blue bow sewn on the inside of my garter. Something as simple as that. You could always have a blue patch of material in the shape of a heart sewn to the inside of your dress. Or even blue undies.

I got the charm with the blue bead and a photo of our dog in it - I really wanted our dog to be part of the ceremony but logistically it just wasn't going to happen.  So at least this way she'll be with me!!

I am wearing blue undergarmets, my nails are going to be a blueish color, the ear rings I am wearing have blue stones in them 9for the owl eyes). I think your blue could be just something small.

I don't know if this will work for you, but I am going to wear a small aquamarine stud in the cartilage piercing in my left ear!

My colors are pale pink and ruby, and all my other wedding jewelry is pearl. So my "main" earrings will match all that, but the cartilage peircing (I just have one) will be my something blue, tucked away behind my hair
