how much napkins do I buy for 250 to 300 guest?

I would get twice the number of anticipated guests.  In my family a lot of people like to take the personalized napkins home with them.  If you don't think this will happen, the extra napkins will come in handy if a guest needs a second one, and you will want some to keep with your wedding cake for your 1st anniversary (if you plan on doing that, I've been told it's more of a southern tradition to save the top tier).

We had about 120 guests and the napkins I ordered came in packs of 150. I ordered 2 bc I wanted 2 different colors. We had a decent amount leftover, but both sets of parents wanted some for keepsake purposes.

I would order 2x the amount of guest now if you are getting them customized that could be costly so may be get one set customized and the others plain.
