Hey Knotties.
We had originally decided on turquoise and chocolate brown as our colors. I'm just feeling that this is a bit formal. We've done the "rustic chic/elegance thingy" as Dakota calls it. It's rustic, but still pretty. Lace, burlap, etc. I've recently fallen in love with "shabby chic" and am just curious what you guys think.
Would it look weird to add a bit of pale pink (in the flowers..) in addition to the turquoise and brown?
The bridesmaids are in a light turquoise, which looks more like aqua (David's Bridal pool is the same color). The only brown is in the favor boxes. The tablecloths are turquoise. The floors are 100 year old reclaimed barn wood and the walls are white painted boards as well as the rafters. I know, confusing. Plus, one wall is 150 year old reclaimed brick. Absolutely beautiful.
Pic of the venue, but it's much much much better in person:

Here's a bit of what I want to add:

"He was my mum and dad's best friend. He's a convicted murderer, but he's broken out of wizard prison and he's on the run. He likes to keep in touch with me, though...keep up with news...check if I'm happy..."
