david's bridal "wine" color

I'm having a color crisis! I chose the latte and wine colors from david's bridal for my dresses and color scheme. Originally i considered the wine to be a dark burgundy color which is what i've been going on in making wedding decisions. well, when i had the bridesmaids try on their  dresses...the wine looks more like a deep purple. can it really look that different in the different lighting? anyone else using this color? whats your interpretation?should i still stick to deep burgundy or switch to the deep purple for my fall wedding?

This is interesting, because I picked the "sangria" color from David's which is sort of a purple/berry color, and when I looked at my MOH's dress in the lighting at her house it looked totally burgundy. I think it does depend on the lighting which makes it hard to predict. I'm not sure if all BM dresses/fabrics do that or if it's something about dresses from David's?

As far as which color to use, I would get a color swatch from David's (they did charge me a dollar, which I think is just obnoxious considering my girls will spend over $500 on dresses from them) and take the swatch with you to pick out your wedding stuff whenever possible.

Idk what to tell you, you should just go with whatever color you like best.

However, you could do a really pretty combination of burgundys and purples for a very rich and beautiful look. These colors aren't exactly right, but you get the idea:

Honestly I think the color of the dress is very pretty.  It will probably look more purple in some lighting and burgundy in other lighting.  If they are already ordered I would stick with them.  You could do some burgundy, deep purple, and ivory flowers for the fall wedding.  It will look gorgeous.  If you really don't like it than you need to switch.  That shade of purple is very in for a fall wedding.  GL!
