Re: !

  • Your dress is gorgeous.

The champagne sash would look beautiful around your waist.  I like it more than the trim beading - more dramatic.
  • I would go for a blinged out sash rather then adding beading to the neckline.  The band will help to emphasize your waist as well.

  • I picked a Mori Lee Blu dress as well.  I added a beaded sash to add a bit of bling.  I think that's probably going to be your best bet...
  • I love bling.  I had dress regret for months because my dress wasn't sparkly enough.  It really is personal preference.  I didn't want to look like a chandelier, but I did want to sparkle.  II think a blingy sash would be a good idea. You can also have the seamstress sew some bling around the sweetheart neckline.

Having wedding dress regrets</a>:
[QUOTE]I hate bling.  I vote to leave the dress alone.  Use jewelry to add sparkle if you must.  Personally, I'm a pearl person.

I'm with CMGr: I think the dress is gorgeous just as it is. Don't gild the lily.

  • If you want to add something I think at the waist would be the way to go. Try to find a sash with a transparent backing so you can't see it, just the beadwork. That way when its sewn on it will look like its been there all along!

  • No sash for two reasons.

The sash horizontal line would take away from all the beautiful diagonal draping.
Also, there is already a beaded applique on your hip, just below where the sash would go.

If you really want to add bling, not that it needs it at all, you could either outline the sweetheart neckline or you could add an applique on the opposite top (sort of like where you would wear a corsage).
  • I don't think it looks plain at all!  I second no sash.  Get some bling drop earrings and a bling necklace

  • I agree that the dress is beautiful as it as and doesn't need any bling.  I would go for a blinged out necklace to add more sparkle.
  • I have a good suggestion, my friend did this with her engagement dress, I don't know if you like something like this, but have a look:
It kinda looks likde the shine is coming out of the folds and i noticed your dress was pleated also so it might work.
