Redhook Brewery Portsmouth, NH

I was wondering if anyone knows much about the Redhook Brewery venue in Portsmouth, NH. I'm considering the venue but haven't seen much written up about it besides on their website. Any info is helpful!

Thanks, Lisa

LOVE it there!!! have you been? I used to know the girl that planned the weddings there but I don't anymore, she left! They have limited space... unless you're thinking of doing it outside! The girl who used to plan the weddings said that they use to setup cocktail hour in the room where you can see all the beer vats, pretty cool...although if you looking for something fancy I wouldn't do it at redhook! and i hope you really like beer!!! haha. good luck sorryt i couldn't help you any more!

I tried to get information on Redhook weddings, and I have to say that the event planning staff was very difficult to work with (and borderline rude). I work on Pease (as does my fiance) and I tried three times to make an appointment to see the banquet room. Twice, the event planner said "Well you can come on this day at this time, other than that I'm not available" just for a 10 min showing of the room. I told her we can't do that, can we please stop by another time? And I've never heard back from her. If you can get in touch with them, it might be a good pick. But goodluck!

I toured Red Hook and the have great food in their pub and the beer tasting was fun. It would be a great place to have a reception in the areas inbetween the beer making rooms. I decided that their upstairs room wasn't big enough for our 200 people and their outside tented area would work but I can't image putting everything together from across the country I'm trying to find a venue that takes care of more of the work!
