DB Discontiued my FG Dress!

Today my sister called me and informed me that she went and bought my nieces flower girl dress from Davids Bridal yesterday, and it's the one I picked out. Well today my FI Cousin went to go get the same one for her daughter, from the same DB Location, and they told her the dress was discontinued.

My question is, when it comes to FG dresses do they have to match or can I just get same color different style? I don't want to have to tell my sister she has to go buy another dress. My niece is a tomboy and she wont ever wear the dress bought ever again. Advise please?

Ask at another DB, and try online.

My experience is that they rarely have a clue what's going on.  (Had a similar problem ordering a BM dress for my sister's wedding-- just ONE location insisted it was discontinued.)

If it actual;ly is discontinued, your choices are: call every DB in a reasonable or unreasonbale travel radius and try to buy a sample dress, or get another dress in the same color, which is indeed fine.  They don't have to match.

I'll try asking around other DB, but I have tried online and they definitely don't. If the dress is continued would they still have a sample dress left?

If you definitely can't find the dress, it will be fine if they don't match.

It will be perfectly fine if the dresses don't match.  Think of it as having BM with different style dresses...this is seen a lot so it will be fine for the FGs too

Well it seems a lot of people didn't have or don't matching FG dresses and it turned out fine. I was just worried it would look freakish!

I find it hard to believe it was discontinued overnight.  Dittp PP. Call other DB locations.

If all else fails, try eBay.  There is a thriving secondary market there for Davids Bridal items of all kinds.

It is okay if they don't match. The dresses for my FGs are the same color and similar style but they do not match exactly.

Call other DBs and check online to see if you can still find the dress.
