Entrance songs

Hope you all had a great 4th!

As I was laying in bed last night I started thinking of ceremony music (perfect time right?).  Just curious if I need to have different songs for the mom's (and possibly my godmother and FI's grandmother...is that too much?) walking in from the WP/BM's entrance?  Then I finally switch to my song walking in right?

I was thinking of doing:

Simple Gifts for the mom's entrance (my mom played it during her wedding)
Cannon in D for the BM's entrance (I just love that song)
Traditional wedding march/here comes the bride (just because I want that traditional song)

but I dont' think they go well together...thoughts?  What songs are you using?

I would still need one song for the end of the ceremony or do you have one for FI and I leaving (I guess at that time DH) and then one for the WP leaving?

Also my invitations went out on Thursday at 3 people have let me know they got them woo hoo!

Thanks for your help!

We did one song for each of the entrances. We chose 'Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring' for the entrance of the families (this included mom's, grandparents, and great-grandparents) and chose 'Canon in D' for the bridal party entrance. I used the traditional wedding march for my grand entrance. We found that choosing a different song for each worked well. I think your song choices are great and would flow together very nicely.

We used only one song for the end of the ceremony for all of us to exit to. We chose 'Wedding March from a Midsummer Night's Dream' for everyone to exit to. We chose one other song too just in case that song ran short, as we didn't want our guests to exit the Church in silence.

Hope this helps!! And CONGRATS on getting the invites out - what a great check! :)
