What Size Crochet Hook for Wedding Dress Buttons?

I was told that my MOH should use a crochet hook to do up the buttons in the back of my gown. I know that hooks range from fairly large to teeny-tiny. Does anyone what size hook is best for this use?

I am not sure how big your buttons and the loops are, but I would try an F or G sized hook.  I think either should work.

I just used a hook that was laying around my house.  I am not sure what size it was and I don't think it really matters.  It is mainly to help whoever is buttoning you up in your dress to pull the loop around the button.  In this situation, size doesn't matter
