When did you start going to actual stores to pick out the Tuxes and Vest etc.? Our wedding is in October and I already have my dress. lol. $99 DB sale. My BM are planning to start looking in April. We have been looking at different styles and color swatches already and know what color they want. But its just a matter of getting all the guys together to agree on a pattern. Does anyone have like a timeline or an "ETA" basically of when to start actually shopping for this stuff?? I dont want to get it too soon, but I dont want to wait till its so late they cant be altered, ordered etc. on time.

    I used to manage a tux shop, so hopefully this will be useful :)
    It's a good idea to reserve your styles at least 6-8 weeks  in advance (although it never hurts to get started earlier) and tell the guys they need to get in to be fitted 4 weeks prior to give the shop ample time to allocate all the styles in the necessary sizes.  Wait until 2 weeks before the event for ring bearers as they will likely outgrow the measurements taken before that.
