Colors and Wedding Date Dilemma

Okay so we're in the middle of a planning crunch.
We originally planned to get married June 2014 due to other members of my family having weddings this summer.
One of the weddings has been cancelled and we are considering moving our date up, considerably. From June 2014 to Sept-Nov 2013.
Origninally, with our summer wedding plans, we wanted to do a tiffany blue and coral color scheme, we're thinking that won't be appropriate for this time of year. However, we live in Southern California and our area stays warm until mid November.
Should we ditch our colors and find new ones or will it be okay with our climate and outdoor reception?

If you have different colors to suggest, PLEASE, throw them out there, I'd love some fresh ideas.

  • I say stick with it! I think those colours sound so pretty, if you wanted to add a fall colour to your wedding maybe include a small pop of brown or navy. Our wedding is in June in las vegas and one of my colours is eggplant purple which is a fall colour. It's your day and about what you want so have fun and roll with it.

  • Meh. Do what you like. I'm getting married in spring and have a richer, jewel toned color scheme that's probably more suited for a fall wedding, but whatever.

  • Do what you want and if your really love that color scheme stick with it! None of your guests are going to be like "OMG, did you see what colors she did? Even though it was a fall wedding!?!?" People are just going to be thrilled to be in attendance, sharing your special day with you :)

  • I say go with it still.... Being in so cal anything is possible right? I've been here my entire life. My girlfriend got married in July and did black white and brown. It was Georgous!
  • The time of year should never dictate your color scheme.  If you like your original color scheme then stick with it.

I used to work at a florist for many years and one year the big color scheme was burgandy, orange and ivory.  Typically many people would think of these colors in the fall but we did about 10 weddings using this color scheme year round.

  • I think coral and tiffany blue is very pretty.  You should use it.
